Nunsaram Korean Dessert Cafe Bugis Junction
“It'll be nice to get something cold, right?” I asked as we were walking under the unforgiving weather in Singapore.
After crossing out 3 art spaces, I think it’s time to take a break and chill as the evening hits. Work came, and suddenly I’m swarmed with a flurry of property-related questions.
Gone is my peace, and I also need to find a place to work.
“How about the bingsu place we ate?”
“Can we try something new?” I decided to be adventurous, and a new place also meant another cafe that I’ll be able to cover!
We looked around in Bugis and found Nunsaram. Located along the outer side of Bugis Junction along the roads, you’ll see Nunsaram alongside many other food choices, making it ideal for dessert! They also serve a variety of Gimbap and Tokkbokki as well.
It isn’t too noisy, and I like how I still manage to get work done while taking occasional bites of the Choco Banana bingsu. I haven’t been one for a while since I stopped taking bingsu and frappes alongside other desserts, but this one does taste great! The sweetness of the banana goes well with chocolate.
The variety of Gimbap and Tokkbokki I mentioned? It felt like a double-edged sword as the kitchen is working up a heat right at the side of the seemingly cozy cafe, and this means that you’ll reek of food when you leave the place. Remember how you always would just like to get washed up or change right after a BBQ? It felt like that.
We ended up sniffing our shirts, and I even threw in some deodorant as I have a viewing later on. All in all, we have concluded that we will probably eat outside the next time.
