Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts

I was really surprised that this museum is actually less than 10minutes away from my Couchsurfing hosts’ place and this place became my first stop of the day.

The sun was stinging while I walk, making this slightly harder. There is also an amazing part surrounding this fine art museum, with a children museum nearby. Locals were found sitting by the shade, reading and eating by the side of a sizable lake.

It won’t take you too long to find the museum since it’s pretty huge. Standing at 3 stories, this huge fine art museum comes with 2 gallery area on each side of each storey, some even more. 

Every gallery has its own concept to their own and you will find yourself transporting from one world to another as you gallery hops along the way.

One of my favorite parts is actually the wing of the gallery, where there is a huge glass panel constructed for you to admire the green. 

It’s a quiet museum nevertheless and I have been covering art spaces hoping that more travelers could give arts a go when they travel.

They have a standardized admission so It’ll be good to also check the admission before you visit.
