Beitou Library
Believe or not, but this library is probably the main reason that got me to go over to Beitou in the first place. Pairing the day with Tamsui, I find myself hastily making my way over to the library after wandering along the old streets.
The majestic oak building stood proudly amongst the grassland. Standing at 2 levels up, I adore the top level where we could not only run our fingers through the timeless bookshelves but also sit at the balcony and get some fresh air while we read. It was the perfect weather to read when the wind isn’t too cold, the sun isn’t too harsh and it wasn’t too noisy.
We stood by the balcony and watch the world pass us by. It sounds funny, but from there we actually noticed an overly prestigious restroom that stands right behind, snatching some of the spotlights.
I love the calming weather, the beautiful ambiance and how everything falls perfectly into place with each other. This quiet library is a pretty good place to read or even study! Time to pack your bags and spend an afternoon here someday!
