Arts on Main
We stumbled upon the Arts on Main while we were trying to self administer a walking tour before we know it is “the Arts on Main” much later.
This is actually an area with independent shops from books to novelty and there are also arts all around the area itself.
The foyer would probably be a great place to chill when it’s not raining, and I love the exhibition area which seems pretty promising with its huge space.
At the bottom floor there’s the artist market area which would open on Sunday! Besides cafes, there’s also a space to get food and beer so this place really come alive at night.
We were bought to explore several independent stores with its own unique local flavours and it’s one of those space that you’ll always pop by to see what’s new whenever you’re at Joburg!
P.S. there’s a weekly Sunday market from 10am-3pm called Markets on Main! It’s a must go as recommended by the locals!
