Not Just Library (不只是圖書館)

The wooden door creaks just as I opened the wooden frame with a glass window.

The small humble space just right in front of the library housed a small exhibit, a 3 by 3 metre ever-changing exhibition square space. The exhibition space is free to visit, and you can definitely pop by anytime to take a look at their newest collective.

Usually, there is an admission charge before entry, but the staff is nice enough to let me in to take look, explore and take photos. Being Taiwan’s first design-themed library, Not Just Library boasts a collection of more than 30,000 design publications and 10 magazine titles from around the world. This is probably one of the best places in Taipei for designers and artists alike to come forage for inspirations. They also have several non-circulating contents which makes the admission worth the price!

This is one of the places that left me a huge impression while I’m exploring Songshan Cultural and Creative Park!
