My 2023, Wrapped

Looking back at 2023, I wondered what I had accomplished. The year passed swiftly, especially the latter half, consumed by almost daily work. Thankfully, my photo albums and Instagram archive allowed me to recollect fragments of my journey.

The end of 2023 felt celebratory, having triumphed by checking off "cosplaying" and "start driving" from my list. Despite struggling with my mental health, I managed to navigate through the remaining months.

The year's outset proved challenging as I navigated complex human relationships, battling to maintain sanity. Tears flowed frequently, yet there were victorious days, such as organizing a cross-border Discord community meet.

In my digital realm, consistency in content creation brought joy. From podcasting to squeezing in streams amid work, the journey didn't stop there. A real-life Discord recruitment drive was a rewarding experience.

My podcasting journey, sharing mental health insights and reading stories with Chilli, marked a year of pride. Creating short-form horizontal content from artsy events became a surmountable challenge.

In the physical realm, I proudly resumed gym sessions. Physiotherapy progressed, and legal matters related to my accident started moving forward.

An unexpected semi-sponsored trip to Hong Kong brought pleasant surprises. Traveling alone, meeting Discord mates, and connecting with someone from my hostel days in Taipei filled my Hong Kong adventure. Exploring cafes, museums, and galleries, I marked off many places. Short getaways included staycations in Johor and a Genting trip with my younger brother.

As I sat at my desk, reminiscing about the year, I pondered if I had made it "count." Thankfully, I did, and I'm genuinely pleased with the journey.
