Fuji-Q Highland
The weather wasn't really good on the day that we'd plan to go for a day trip at Kawaguchi. Not only was it cold, but it was raining as well.
After hesitating over breakfast, we decided to just go for it and see how is it. It took us a while though, as we delayed the day abit while assessing the weather, wondering if the rain would stop/if the clouds would part ways.
At the very end of things, we only manage to do Fuji Q, instead of the Ropeway. The distance and timing is one thing, the weather is another that deters us as well. Being a coward for rides, I only got myself tickets to chill around at the space.
It was however an amazing place to people watch, to look at all these gigantic titans tossing people across the skies; safely. I'd have to say that these rides are too extreme after consulting Youtube. It was so cold to the extent that we didn't manage to stay outdoors for too long, only to find ourselves seeking refuge indoor whenever we can. I'm pretty sure this weather is one of an outlier and we're underdressed for it.
There's this bizarre saying about fighting cold with cold, we decided to try the famous Mt Fuji Pop (or Ice Cream) before we left.
The weather got better after that but seems like it was gonna be crazy cloudy. Was even told that it wasn't worth heading over to the ropeway after.
So I guess it was onward to our favourite activity then; hanging out at game centres tryna' win some. Well also, I find the Fuji (Kawaguchiko's train stamp utterly cute!). I later went on a journey to collect bus and train stamps all around Japan.
