DECK (Art Gallery)

Walking distance from Rochor, or if you venture further down from Dhoby Ghaut, you'll stumble upon this unusual looking gallery with a towering container labeled D-E-C-K.
This well-hidden gem is hidden right behind Town. After the hustle and bustle of the stretch of Orchard, a misadventure would send you down to the wrong path, which... after exploring the urban labyrinth of the least travel would bring you to this amazing art space.

Named "DECK", this container style art space gives you endless love and joy when you visit. The heart throbbing clinks and clanks of the metal staircase would send the railing shaking, as you run your hands along them.
(It's safe of course don't worry. Just walk on and enjoy the industrial symphony)

Inside each container are various hand-picked and curated art for your pleasure. Don't worry about feeling stuff inside these steel boxes as the airconditioning works really well in small areas like these. I literally couldn't "contain" myself and went on a photo-snapping spree of these beautiful artworks and installations.
*They also feature an art library with various collections which opens only on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

There's also a dessert shop for you to escape the heat and chill while you VSCO-ed your favorite Instagram shots.
If you're ever bored of shopping at Town, why don't you give this amazing space a try?
