Level Up
An Arcade meets Bar Bistro, Level Up essentially aims to be an all in one hangout spot. My team and I decided to head over to Level Up for a team celebration, as we decided to pick a place that could encourage or brings about more interaction.
Food-wise, we got mainly finger food, from nuggets to fries and pizza. The food and beer aren't exactly memorable as they were just on the decent side and didn't leave an impression.
There are tokens given to you and you could also change for more to play a variety of games, from retro joystick fighting games to shooting hoops or even a dance-off. There are also more multiplayer friendly games like bishi bashi, a pool table, and also table soccer, beer pong and table hockey for friend groups who come in a crowd (3 pax or more).
Perhaps it's the covid period, there aren't too many people which allows us to play almost everything there, which I didn't manage to the previous time (afew years back). It was unfortunate to note that there aren't any live band performances on Sunday. Something to mentally note if you ever want to go there to get abit of the live performance ambient.
Overall Level Up is a place excellent for huge groups of people, who want to party yet do not want to find themselves having to talk over loud music. With their array of arcade games, it's definitely a place made for the 90s kid even though I wish they could have more variation.
