Kua`Aina

With most people who went to Japan not knowing the existence of Kua' Aina. I'd figure this would be one of the most unsung burger places in Tokyo.

Kua' Aina and I came a long way from the link right out of a website link that I saw when I was younger. It might be the 2am hunger pangs, but seeing the well-taken photo of the burger and fries made me add this place to my bucket list; and as expected, I checked that place right off the moment when I'm in Tokyo.

I'd like to believe that I'm alittle different when I'm with you. More grown-up, more mature, and better at voicing my likes and dislikes. Even though I could use some more improvement. I'd always known that I love burger and fries; but these areas sinful as Bonnie & Clyde, but then again... LOVABLE.

Call it a love-hate relationship, but I have to constantly remind myself to work hard for those, or even harder for those as I'm getting older.

Situated at Sky Tree Town, we saw the place in awe as I read the lighted up sign in my head. I can't believe I'm finally there! I actually took a quick snap before running into the place. Adoring all the well-made food model, I proceed to look over at the counter hoping to get a glimpse of some kitchen action. I felt like a kid again, as I had my elbow on the counter, my legs almost off the ground. You pulled me right next to you before pointing at the menu.

"Of course I'm going for their best beef burger", I exclaimed.

    Kua'Aina

I must have looked like such a fan as the staff looked at me with a mix of bewilderment and amusement.

    Kua'Aina

"Food's here!", I exclaimed again, this time softer as I'm feeling the hunger pangs kicked in.

    Kua'Aina

I look at the huge burger with an array of fries and onion rice. The sleek bacon entwined with the melting cheese like a love affair, the fries tomato and lettuce that really gave the burger the extra crunch when I sank my teeth in. Flavours burst in all directions as I still chug afew fries inside my mouth to chew. I enjoyed it. It felt like a much more improved version of Carls Jr meets MOS Burger. I love how soft the patty actually is, and how the bread didn't felt like a lot even though the serving size is humongous!

As a self-proclaimed burger slut, I'm proud to say that I checked this off my list. This would be a place that I'll constantly revisit for their burger! There is... much to my surprise another dining experience near Skytree Town that rivalled to Kua' Aina. That would be the supermarket right across the road that I'll be sharing in another writing, in another time.
