Cape of Good Hope Art Gallery
I decided to cross off some participating galleries for the art week and The cape of good hope is one of those notable places I’d really like to cover aside from G Art!
Cape of Good Hope actually reminds me of South Africa, but that is totally off what this one stands for. Specialising in bringing in works by local artists, this art gallery is a must-go if you’re into supporting locals.
I could see several of our iconic landmarks turned into artworks! From the Singapore River which I grew up with, to The Central business district area which I used to gaze at, back when Marina Square was an old shopping mall.
The artworks here gave me so much to reminisce about, and I supposed this is something that local artists could do effortlessly. We grew up in the little red dot together, so no doubt about that.
I love their website though, as they feature different artworks over time aside from their usual periodic exhibitions. This art space is something local art lovers could keep an eye on as they carry a variety of local works from old and new!
