"Wah the road out still jam"
"We can still hangout for awhile, maybe go for desert or drinks"
With some time to spare before the road potentially clears up, we began searching for alternatives. Most cafes close early, and there aren't many options open past 9 or 10 pm. You can imagine our excitement when we stumbled upon one nearby.
Just 2-3 blocks away from the Shell station we were at, tucked away in the back, we could hear the speakers blaring only as we got closer. The music wasn't too intense; I enjoyed the soft and loungy vibes that this place exuded. The music was soothing and chill, fittingly located right opposite a 24/7 clinic.
The overall ambiance was cool. The interior was dimly lit, with each seating area having its own light source or unique lighting.
The music volume was just right; we didn't have to shout across the table to hold a conversation. It felt like a well-designed intimate space shared among different groups of people, creating a sense of togetherness through the music and ambiance.
I appreciated their approach to crafting different drinks, each with a specific theme and persona, pre-made and available on tap. The drinks leaned towards the milder side, making it a suitable spot for those who want to unwind and take it easy.
