BAS Burger (바스버거)
Situated at the basement level of our estate, it was one of my regrets that we didn’t try this place early. However, in my defense, we tried going to this place at night for supper but it is closed. I coined this as my favorite burger place so far its food, ambiance, and price.
We got to this place during lunch hours, and surprisingly it is quite empty, so thank God! It is a pretty chill place, with music blaring at the background, not too loud so that you can’t hear the one speaking opposite you, or too soft to be heard. The perfect white noise.
They have everything that is really friendly, the English menu, and also… FREE CHIPS! Unlimited free chips. You got me. I would have ordered lesser if I had known we have unlimited free chips to pig on. They say what’s free might not exactly taste the best. The chips don’t taste amazing, however the sauce that comes along with it? Wow.
We love the truffle cheese fries, even though we tried both the Cheese Bacon Fries and the Truffle Pameson Frie but we could barely tell the difference. However both are delicious, we couldn’t get enough of that.
The burger is great, juicy, and it didn’t felt like a cheap burger. The patty is thick, and the burger is filling by itself even though the portion of the fries is small. The orange juice, very freshly squeezed
This place is a real gem and a place to try! They have various branches across the city, so it isn’t too difficult to find one along the way to fit your itinerary. We tried a variety of burger places in Seoul, but nothing comes close to BAS Burger!
